10 Non-Traditional Wedding Playlist Songs
Looking for some unique songs for your ceremony or reception? We’ve got them. But, prepare yourself, this isn’t your mom’s wedding playlist.
We’ve been digging some awesome jams lately, both old and new, that give us all the feels. We like to be traditionally untraditional when it comes to selecting music for a wedding. If you ask us, wedding music doesn’t always have to be about romance and relationships. Sometimes it’s just about the way a song makes you feel or the way it transports you back to a significant moment in time. Play music that touches your soul and moves you, because you can be sure it will resonate with your guests. We’ve all heard “A Thousand Years” or “Ho Hey” on the wedding playlist (don’t get us wrong they’re lovely songs), but let’s give your guests some new music to feast their ears on. Check out our faves below:
- That’s How Strong My Love Is – Ottis Redding
- Call On Me – Big Brother & The Holding Company
- Coming Home – Leon Bridges
- Be Mine – Alabama Shakes
- Grow Old With Me – Tom Odell
- Cool Blue – The Japanese House
- Waiting On You – Grizfolk
- Holocene – Bon Iver
- Us – Kaskade
- The Ocean – Mike Perry
Have a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy.
Till next time babes!
